Seamless Gutter Installation in Columbia, SC
Green Exterior Remodeling
Time for New Gutters?
Seamless gutters sized for Midlands thunderstorms and pine needles
Columbia rain tends to come hard and fast. A summer storm can drop a lot of water on your roof in a few minutes, and undersized or clogged gutters spill it right next to your foundation, your front steps and your flower beds. Add the pine needles and oak leaves that blanket so many Midlands roofs and an older gutter system falls behind quickly.
Green Exterior Remodeling installs seamless aluminum gutters formed on site to the exact length of each run, in 5-inch and 6-inch profiles, along with gutter guards and downspouts placed to carry water away from the house. Most homes are finished in a single day.

Why Columbia Homeowners Choose Us for Gutters
We bring the same care to gutters that we bring to porches, decks and sunrooms.
- Seamless runs: each run is formed on site from one piece of aluminum, so there are no joints along the length to leak.
- 6-inch option: about 40% more capacity than 5-inch, helpful on large or steep roofs during summer downpours.
- Gutter guards: micro-mesh, reverse-curve and foam insert options for homes under pines and oaks.
- One-day installs: most homes are completed in a day, with the old gutters hauled away.
- Licensed and insured in SC: general liability and workers’ compensation coverage.

Gutter Options We Install
- Seamless Aluminum Gutters: lightweight, rust-proof and available in many colors to match your trim.
- 5-Inch K-Style: the standard residential profile, fine for many smaller roofs and porches.
- 6-Inch K-Style: our usual recommendation for Columbia homes with large roof areas or steep pitches.
- Half-Round Gutters: a rounded profile that suits older and craftsman-style homes, like many in Shandon and Rosewood.
- Copper Gutters: a premium option that weathers to a natural patina.
- Gutter Guards: micro-mesh, reverse-curve and foam inserts to keep pine needles and leaves out.

We check in after the first heavy rain to make sure everything drains the way it should.
Columbia Gutter Questions
What size gutters do I need in Columbia?
For most Columbia homes we recommend 6-inch seamless gutters. They carry about 40% more water than standard 5-inch gutters, which matters during the short, heavy summer thunderstorms the Midlands gets. Smaller roofs or porches can be fine with 5-inch.
Do I need gutter guards with all the pine trees?
If you have pines or oaks over the roof, guards usually pay off. Pine needles slide into open gutters and pack the downspouts. We install micro-mesh, reverse-curve and foam insert guards and will tell you which fits your trees and roof.
How long does gutter installation take?
Most homes are done in one day. We fabricate the seamless runs on site, hang them, connect the downspouts and clean up the same day.
What is the difference between seamless and sectional gutters?
Sectional gutters are joined every 10 to 20 feet, and those joints are where leaks start. Seamless gutters are formed on site from one continuous piece of aluminum for each run. We install seamless gutters.
Where should my downspouts drain?
Away from the house. Columbia has areas of sandy soil and areas of red clay, and both cause trouble when roof water dumps next to the foundation. We place downspouts and extensions so water leaves the foundation area, and we talk through drainage add-ons if water still pools.
How do I know my gutters need replacing?
Sagging runs, leaking corners, rust, gaps where sections meet, peeling paint on the fascia or water pooling at the foundation after rain all point to a gutter system that is not doing its job.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. We stand behind our installation with a workmanship warranty, and the seamless aluminum gutters carry a manufacturer’s material warranty.
Are you licensed and insured in South Carolina?
Yes. We are licensed and insured in both South Carolina and North Carolina, with general liability and workers’ compensation coverage.
